However, the introduction of plasmapheresis has improved response rates dramatically in patients with this disease. Other symptoms include palpitations, dyspnea, weakness, and panic attacks (particularly in patients with tumors that produce an increase in epinephrine). Lighted stylets are used to blindly intubate the trachea using the transillumination technique. An underdamped pressure waveform displays systolic pressure overshoot and may contain elements produced by the measurement system itself rather than the original propagated pressure wave. Blood gas measurements can be obtained with acceptable levels of accuracy and precision.
